Anka Manshusen
Intuitive artist, photographer
I am a visual artist with a background in photography. My work is situated within abstract image processes and emerges through an open and intuitive mode of working.

Nature forms an essential foundation of my practice. Landscapes, organic structures, and subtle atmospheric movements inform my visual language and shape my understanding of space, rhythm, and presence..
I am interested in translating perception into visual form — how light, structure, and movement generate pictorial spaces that can be experienced both visually and physically.

Series: Everlasting
Series: Becoming no.7

My practice begins with observation and listening. The works emerge as processes of becoming visible — not as the execution of predefined concepts, but as continuous movements between material, space, and perception.

I grew up in northern Germany and now live by the Mediterranean coast in Spain. The proximity to water shapes my sense of temporality, transformation, and depth, and continuously informs my work.

Alongside my artistic practice, I develop spaces for creative processes rooted in perception, expression, and intuitive experience.
